Held at The Park Lane’s Rooftop Garden, visitors can taste over 180 South African wines ranging from classic South African grape varieties such as Chenin Blanc and Pinotage to international favourites like the Bordeaux and Rhone varieties and blends, across the entire spectrum of wine styles from Méthode Cap Classique (sparkling wine with second fermentation in the bottle) to sweet and fortified wine, while enjoying the sweeping view of the Victoria Harbour.

Visitors can sample classic South African food like boerewors (sausage) and biltong (dried cured meat), as well as typical snacks and rooibos tea (herbal tea made from the leaves of an indigenous South African plant). There will also be cooking demonstrations by visiting South African chef Allistaire Lawrence, who will share a few tips about braai -ing (barbecue) with guests.

Tour operators specialising in trips to South Africa will be on hand to introduce the spectacular South African landscape, which is as diverse and exciting as its wine, to keen travellers.
