Ni hao and welcome to DecanterChina.com.

This is currently the beta - or test - version of the site, so you’ll be able to see many of the site’s features ahead of the full launch later this year. Do be aware that we’re continually making improvements, so things that may not fully function as expected, but will be evolving quickly in this early stage.

Firstly, make sure you register. It’s completely free and will only take a few minutes to complete, but it will be worth it once we begin turning on article access for registered users only in the next few days.

Secondly, click this button to follow DecanterChina on Weibo . We’ll be posting exclusive content there regularly, so follow us to make sure you don’t miss out.

Thirdly, have a good look around the site, and let us know what you think below.

Currently the site has three main sections:
- Resources: Containing our must-read Tip of the Day, and translated Glossary of key wine terms
- Events: Our free-to-use diary of local and national wine events, searchable by date and by city
- News: Up-to the-minute information on everything you need to know as a wine lover in China

Plus, in the coming months you’ll begin to see new features and sections such as:

- Wine reports
- Travel guides
- Regional profiles
- Famous estate profiles
- Wine recommendations

Decanterchina.com is also the home of the new Decanter Asia Wine Awards, so we’ll be introducing the competition and giving you behind-the-scenes coverage in the coming weeks before we publish the definitive results on October 30th 2012.

We hope you enjoy the site in this early phase, and don’t forget to let us know what you think below to help us to improve Decanterchina.com going forward.
