etc wine school is back in this Summer! Every Wednesday from June to September, join our in-store sommeliers to learn the secrets of Burgundy wines. Travel around most appellations of this incomparable and complex wine region. Book your seat today for another great wine journey.
St. Romain – The SAINT-ROMAIN appellation, instituted in 1947, is for both red and white wines. Labels often include the name of the Climat from which the wine derives.
Santenay – Lying at the Southern extremity of the Côte de Beaune, nearly all reds are planted here, with only a small amount of Chardonnay.
St. Aubin – A close neighbour of Montrachet, lying between Chassagne and Puligny, Saint-Aubin is a wine-growing village in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune. The area covered by its Village appellation includes 30 or so Premiers Crus Climats which fall into several groups.
Monthélie - Situated between Volnay and Meursault, vines planted here are nearly all Pinot Noir. This appellation includes 15 Premiers Crus 'Climats'.
