With just over two weeks remaining, organisers are issuing a final call for entries into this year's Decanter Asia Wine Awards, as the submission phase draws to a close.

The competition, now in its second year, is Asia’s largest wine competition and entrants have until 6th August 2013 to submit their entry.

Asia’s leading experts will gather in Hong Kong on 16th - 19th September 2013 for judging week, under the joint chairmanship of Steven Spurrier and Jeannie Cho Lee MW, and vice chairs Gerard Basset MS MW, Ch’ng Poh Tiong, Michael Hill-Smith MW, Andrew Jefford, and Shinya Tasaki.

The full results will be published on Wednesday 23rd October 2013 on Decanterchina.com.

The results will then be taken on a promotional tour of Asia, with confirmed venues including the inaugural ProWine China in Shanghai on 13th November. Decanter will also be at the HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair on 7th November.

December will see DAWA award-winning wines showcased in venues across Asia, as part of the DAWA Winners' Tastings programme, in partnership with Enomatic.

The Decanter Asia Wine Awards was launched in 2012, with over 90% of the judges based in Asia.
