The new DecanterChina.com launches today, with a mobile-optimised redesign, a brand new Wine Reviews section and several new features tailored to the needs of Chinese wine lovers.

The new DecanterChina.com provides faster access from Mainland China, and is fully mobile-optimised. Each page can now be shared across social media platforms including the Chinese Weibo and WeChat.

A brand-new Wine Reviews section was designed to meet the needs of the Chinese wine community eager to learn and explore. It features wines that are hand-picked by Decanter’s array of experts and are available in the Chinese market. Local distributor information and a price range are also included as buying guides.

The reviews will cover both fine wines and affordable options for those discovering wine. These reviews will be updated on weekly bases.

A new wine Regions search index is also among the key attractions of the new site. Wine lovers will have access to an introduction to the key wine-producing regions and countries in the world, and find on the same page wine grapes, producer profiles, latest news, columns and travel guides related to the region.

A redesigned Knowledge section is launched to better suit the needs of the knowledge-thirsty wine learners in China, featuring an enhanced Grape Variety index, Producer Profile index, People (interviews) section and a WSET learning blog.

Terry Xu, famous wine blogger and educator is DecanterChina.com’s newest columnist, joining the existing star line-up including LI Demei, Chinese wine authority, LU Yang, winner of Best Sommelier Greater China (2014) and Fongyee Walker, renowned wine educator based in Beijing.
